Comprised of local scene fixtures Davey Parish and Aldine Strychnine, Pussycat Galataca's only recorded output was released on Death By Salt IV. Dave and Aldine started their musical baptisms by fire in the 1980s SLC punk scene, and they carry that spirit on in with their electronic and noise projects. Parish has released music under the moniker Dirty Uncle Davey, most recently unleashing a synth-based noise album for Red Light Sound. Aldine is known for his membership in SLC experimental punks Gnawing Suspicion, who were incorporating noise into local music before anyone else. "Owsley Soaked Headband" references the notorious LSD cook from the 1960s, and it as just as drenched in noise as its title implies. It's hard to tell whether or not a guitar is conjuring the noise, but the trip is heavy and loud, but worth the ride.
