“WW&WWW” is an ode to just what the title suggests; JW Blackout has written the quintessential local bar band song. Their other music is more alt-country leaning, mellow and bittersweet, but this one is for when you just need to leave the “tears in your beer” and party like it’s 1979. Jamison
Wilkins’ musical odyssey has been a well-traveled geographical sojourn. In Boise, he once played in a band with ex-members of Treepeople, a group who also gave the world Doug Martsch of Built to Spill. In New York he played drums for J Majesty, but lucky for us he’s been back in Salt Lick since about the start of the new millennium. Their album Everything Changes is available from CDbaby.com. (And JW Blackout’s former drummer, Patrick Young, played the drums for this track.) –Stakerized!
